Air Data System (ADS) and Inertial Navigation System (INS) are critical to aircraft navigation equipments. The fusion of the data from ADS and INS can improve the overall performance without compromising the autonomy of the systems. The research of airborne ADS/INS data fusion and assessment technology was carried out deeply and targetedly in this thesis.An ADS/INS altitude fusion method was designed. By disconnecting the passageway of atmospheric damping in the transonic range and using the pure INS data to correct the barometric altitude, it is able to improve the accuracy of the altitude data in flight. It can reduce the fluctuation of barometric altitude effective. Actual flight data was used to demonstrate the feasibility and efficiency of the algorithm.An ADS/INS angle of attack (AOA) fusion algorithm based on variable parameters complementary filter was designed. The algorithm can remove the transonic jagged fluctuations in atmospheric AOA and can achieve a much smoother AOA curve in flight. To improve the accuracy of transonic flight AOA further, a transonic ADS-INS AOA two-step fusion algorithm was proposed. Based on the complementary filter, a BP artificial neural network was used to further modify the transonic AOA and improve the accuracy of AOA.An assessment method of navigation informations based on multi-sensor fusion was designed in this thesis. Measurement fusion, centralized Kalman Filter and Rauch-Tung-Striebe smoothing filter were used as the three-step of multi-sensor fusion to obtain high-precision baseline information for evaluating. A simulation platform was designed to validate the accuracy of baseline information. Validation results showed that evaluating baseline information was high-precision and reliable.Based on the design of algorithms, the airborne ADS/INS data fusion and assessment system was set up. The actual flight data was also used in software performance testing and the validation results show that software is correct and reliable. Airborne ADS/INS data fusion and assessment system has a high value in engineering application.
