Advanced composite materials grid structure (AGS) is a new kind of structural materials which is light and high-strengthen and has broad application prospects in aerospace engineering. After more than ten years of development, many scholars have made deep researches on structure configurations mechanics properties, fabrication methods, damage properties and so on.Now it has already been used in real aeronautic and astronautic structures. In this paper, mechanical performances of AGS are researched firstly through the theoretical analysis and experiment verification. The masin works of the paper are as follows:(1) Analysis and simulation research of the mechanical properties of grid structures and honeycomb structures are finished based on the ANSYS software;(2) Fabrication methods and process of AGS are investigated and the test sample of equilateral triangle grid structure is achieved based on the laboratory conditions;(3) Six-channel strain test system is designed and a three-point bending test system is designed and achieved. The experimental results are compared with the finite element analysis results. The results showed that the methods and process of the fabrication are feasibility and the mechanical properties of the structure are steady;(4) Preliminary research on load identification of the triangle grid structures based on neural network is finished.
