Rising energy crisis and environmental pollution, making electric vehicles again arise people's extensive concern, some of the first class automobile manufacturers have launched concept products. In recent years, our country has been investing in the new energy resource vehicles field, what's more many universities also participated in the national projects, whose target is to solve our country's energy crisis and reduce environmental pressures.At present, the battery and motor drive technology are pop fields. Because of no breakthrough in battery technology for the circumstances, many scholars focus on improving the performance of motor control. This paper mainly studies the drive technology of permanent magnet synchronous motor used in electric vehicles. Vector control is used to realize the simulation based on SIMULINK, in which the 1-DOF vehicle dynamics model is used for the motor load.In order to design and realization of motor control methods, this paper has a detailed analysis of the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor, and proves some results which are exist. For the problem that if the power is changed after the coordinate transformation, the paper gives brief analysis, the transformation parameter used in the paper is confirmd.For the characteristic of electric vehicles, the appropriate vector control strategy is selected, the MTPA control and weak magnetic control methods with expectation torque input are put forward, and the design and realization of DTC method is briefly analyzed. The simulation based on software enviorment is implemented. Based on vector control theory, the characteristic of permanent magnet synchronous motor selected by this paper was analyzed. Torque closed-loop system is used for reducing steady-state error and the torque ripple, at last the simulation results are analyzed.In order to get the control characteristics as true as getting from the real world in the lab, it is necessary to design the hardware in loop simulation system of the electric vehicles control system, the circuits used for controlling the motor selected in this paper are designed based on the dSPACE rapid prototype controller.When the software or hardware in loop simulation is carried out, the load of vehicles dynamic characteristics is needed, this paper analyzed the 1-DOF model of vehicles in chapter 5, which is used in the software and the realization method of real load simulation is proposed according to the theory. Based on the above, this paper gives the the design method of the hardware in loop simulation system of the permanent magnet synchronous motor used in electric vehicles, which has been in the implementation stage.
