| Dual airflow window is a new kind of window in order to find a balance between better air quality and lower building energy consumption. In the form of mechanical ventilation, fresh air was supplied to indoor through the channel between the glasses. Fresh air load was conserved by the way of heat recovery, and the heat transfer of window was reduced as the temperature difference between the both sides of lateral glass was decreased.As a product in the market-oriented, the seriation of dual airflow window is needed to satisfy the individual needs of different users. Based on the work of Jingshu Wei and Sun Bo, the structure of dual airflow window, materials of window frame and glass, and fan model are summarized and extended. The characteristics of several window frame materials and glass materials were concluded and appropriate materials was recommended. According to the test of actual operation, several fan models were selected. The seriation of dual airflow window had made preparation for the market.Taken experiment as the main research method, the ventilation effects of three operating modes of the airflow window (dual airflow mode, air supply mode and air exhaust mode) were compared. Using the concentration decay method, making carbon dioxide as a tracer gas, the dilution ventilation rate, equilibrium concentration, dilution rate, the asymmetry coefficient of the working area of the three operating modes were compared, in order to analyze the characteristics of three operating modes.The study of operating mode is help for further understanding and more reasonable use.The heat transfer characteristics of dual airflow window in air supply mode was studied, so as the heat transfer calculating method. Based on the experiment, the causes of the air temperature increase in the air flow channel were analyzed. The composition of heat load was studied, and was compared with the heat load of ordinary window with fresh air in.
