| Since the low temperature refrigerant R502 has been phased out, it is hard to find a more energy-saving refrigerant which can replace R502 in the original system directly. Currently, too much emphasis is paid on lowering the ozonosphere depression of the refrigerants, the energy saving and greenhouse effect alleviating are consequently neglected. For the sake of independent intellectual property rights and energy-conservation, new kinds of substituted refrigerants should be developed in accordance with the conditions in developing countries to replace the foreign mature products.The project is supported by the"National Support Project"(NO. 2008BAJ08B12-02), and the environmental and energy-saving performances of alternative for HCFC-22 are studied in this paper. Comparing the boiling point of refrigerant and the critical temperature, binary mixtures of substituted refrigerant is selected. Its environmental function, thermodynamics property, toxicity and combustibility are compared with the HCFC-22 in the study, and it shows better performance than the HCFC-22. The experiment verified that by using the optimum rate of refrigerant N the refrigerant mixtures of N2 can reach higher coefficient of performance. Moreover, the comparative result was verified by the experiments in the standard test-bed of Sanyo Compressor Company in Dalian.The theory analysis and experiment result indicated that, the refrigerant mixtures N2 has a very good environment performance, especially its GWP is lower than any other low-refrigerant; it can directly used in the system without change the original system's structure; it can save at least 20% energy than HCFC-22 in the long time run; it is non-toxic, non-combustible if leaks from the system. There's tiny influence on the coefficient of performance when the ratio of the two elements changed, so it's worthy to be study further. |
