Nowadays, our country generally use traditional riprap sloping dike or riprap mixed dike in the construction of breakwater. In this kind of construction, the need for sand-gravel material is huge, which will lead to high construction cost. In addition, construction technology of sloping dike and riprap mixed dike is complicate and need long period, which is hard to meet the need of high-developing shipping career in our country. Breakwater is built in deeper and deeper water area, Traditional types of breakwater is limited by foundation technical and construction economy. So, how to guarantee the construction quality with lower cost and faster construction speed is a difficulty in harbor construction. According to the characteristics of big investment and long construction period in the breakwater construction of deepwater port area in soft foundation, these practical applications of breakwater structure with caisson - cylindrical infrastructure are good.This paper introduce the construction technology of caisson - cylindrical infrastructure at first. Then based on some engineering example, according to the acceptance inspection in quality control points and quality control standard of caisson - cylindrical infrastructure construction technology, relevant plans will be listed as the quality technology in the construction process. Finally, we get the main conclusions, deficiency and research experience.
