Abstract/Summary:
As energy shortages are increasing and environmental pollution is gradually serious at present, wind power, as one of the most important alternative energies is attracting more and more attentions. The technology of wind power generation has achieved great development in the previous years worldwide. Today, the main structure of the wind power system are doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) wind power system,electrical excited synchronous generator wind power system, direct‐drive permanent magnetic synchronous wind power system, semi‐drive permanent magnetic synchronous wind power system and squirrel‐cage inductor generator (SCIG) wind power system. Squirrel‐cage asynchronous generator has the merits of simple structure,low price and easy to maintain. And this paper is based on the Research of the SCIG Wind Turbine System.Firstly, this paper introduces the structure, principle and operation characteristic of the SCIG wind power system, combining PWM convertors to establish the mathematical model of the system. Then, we describe the vector control principle of the SCIG, and give the control strategy of the motor side convertor based on the rotor flux orientation. At the same time, we establish the mathematical model of the grid side convertor and deduce the control strategy of the grid side convertor. Moreover, this paper investigates the control strategy of the system, when the system is faced with the low voltage of grid. We also give the control strategy of the system, when the system is troubled by the problem of the unbalanced grid voltage.Finally, we use Matlab/Simulink to establish the 3MW model of the system,and develop the 350kw experimental platform based on the dSPACE. By the investigation and research of the SCIG wind power system, we give the control strategy of this system.
