Fire flooding is a method with the highest thermal recovery. Over the past decades, many overseas field projects have been successful in technology and the results of the commercialization would be very obvious. Facing with the growing depletion of the energy and the global oil prices unceasing climbing, oil resources in China are relatively small and made of a large heavy proportion of heavy oil,fire flooding technology has been also attached to great importance.The fire flooding field project test consumed a lot and is so difficult. Therefore, it is necessary to carry on the numerical simulation and the experimental study in the laboratory. This article firstly summarizes experimental research of fire flooding, the advantages and disadvantages are compared between the thermal analysis and one-dimensional combustion test. Three kinds of crude oil in Liao He Oilfield which is gao 3 area ,gao 246 and du 84 field are studied by thermal analysis at the same rate of air. Gas-solid reaction kinetic equation is used to gas-liquid reaction. Kinetic parameters of crude oil in three different reaction temperature range are obtained through curve fitting. Then, crude oil and sand mixed are carried on re-isothermal experiment respectively at 200℃and 400℃and observed that the cracking in the low-temperature oxidation is not obvious. Immediately after that, the use of TG-DTA (DSC) of three oil sands have been studied under different heating rate. three oxidation reactions are low-temperature oxidation, fuel decomposition and high temperature oxidation are existed both the three kinds of crude oil and three oil sands. But through the DTG curve low temperature oxidation is not very intense compared with three kinds of crude oil. The oxidation reaction heat of low-temperature oxidation and the high-temperature oxidation are obtained high temperature oxidation exothermic heat is much larger than low-temperature oxidation exothermic heat.In order to further study the mechanism of fire flooding, gao 3 area crude oil under a nitrogen pyrolysis experiments is carried by tubular furnace. The burnt calorific capacity different temperature products is measured by automatic calorimetry instrument. The results show that the higher the temperature and the lower the heat, but there is no huge change, the heat of the oil coke is about42600kJ/kg. thermal cracking experiments gao 3 area crude oil under the atmosphere of nitrogen using the pressure differential thermal scanning calorimeter (PDSC)are carried.Through energy conservation equation, the stability of the combustion process are discribed, the best combustion burning conditions are given,the final oil recovery of gao 3 area in theory can reach 65%.
