With the finance of the Science and Technology Supported Project (high-speed maglev transportation technology innovation and industrialization), the remote monitoring technology is mainly stuided for the levitation and guidance control system of high speed maglev train. By adopting the technology, the levitation and guidance system of maglev train, in any area of worldwide covered by mobile telecommunication networks, can be monitored in real time. Therefore, the research on above technology is essential for engineering application. The main research work of this paper can be summarized as following.1. A remote monitoring sysmantic structure for levitation and guidance system of high-speed maglev train is put forward according to the basic functions and requirements of the remote monitoring system, The most characteristic of the system structure is combining the special CAN control network with public GSM/GPRS wireless mobile network, and implementing remote monitoring to 64 levitation controllers and 64 guidance controllers synchronously. The designed remote monitoring system has many advantages such as lower price and good reliability.2. The data flow model of the remote monitoring system is established by introdueing the flow control concept. Considering the mathematical model and hardware characteristic, two flow controllers based on discrete PID algorithm and Kalman algorithm are designed respectively, which can be implemented easily by single chip system. Along with the comparison of simulation analysis, it proves that the flow controller based on Kalman Filter algorithm is more effective and better robust. Because no buffer overflow is guaranteed and the bandwidth is utilized sufficiently, so the controller based on Kalman Filter algorithm has upper practicality. By analyzing time delay of data transferring in the system, some methods to reduce time delay such as compressing data code and affirming the size of sending package by MTU of GPRS network are put forward.3. The software and hardware of the remote monitoring system are designed, implemented and tested one after the other. By adopting the redundancy technology, the adaptability of the system and the stabilization of data wireless transferring are improved. With the test of data transferring integrality, it indicates that the data can be transferred well in the system when real network load is under the maximal value.The designed remote monitoring system for the levitation and guidance system of high-speed maglev train has been applied on a test line in Shanghai. Experiments show that the remote monitoring system meets the requirements of engineering application.
