This dissertation concerns the problem of scheduling the new generation of Agile Earth Observing Satellites (AEOS). Compared with the non-agile satellites, AEOS has three degree of freedom (roll, pitch and yaw), giving opportunities for a more efficient use of the satellite imaging capabilities. And AEOS scheduling problem becomes significantly more difficult and complexity, which is coming forth in the field selecting and observations of satellites. This dissertation focuses on the selection and scheduling of AEOS, including problem analysis, tasks planning model establishing, regional object decomposition, stereoscopic imaging dynamic rescheduling model establishing and etc. The main work and conclusion are as follows:1. On the base of analyzing the working principle and constraints of AEOS, a solving framework is proposed which includes three sub-problems: regional object decomposition, tasks scheduling and stereoscopic imaging dynamic rescheduling. The study on scheduling framework provided high-level guidance for research on key technologies and designing of application systems.2. By analyzing the problem of regional object decomposition, we build a time-labeled data model for strip imaging considering the characteristic of the AEOS. And then a CCSP algorithm is established.3. For resolving the second sub-problem, tasks scheduling, a CSP model is established to formulate the problem. Based on genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm,a combined genetic algorithm for this problem is presented, and column generation algorithm for searching better optimization solutions is presented. In addition, the two algorithms are proved efficiently.4. Aiming at dynamic constraint satisfaction model for stereoscopic imaging, based on AEOS's task scheduling result, the possible activities of AEOS's stereoscopic imaging is analyzed, the a dynamic CSP model is established, and an algorithm based on tabu search for stereoscopic imaging dynamic rescheduling is proposed.
