In central heating area of north China, the residence heating energy consumption is about 40% of total building energy consumption. The large part of heating energy consumption is caused by the exterior wall. A reasonable insulation structure is significant for reducing heating energy. On August 1st, 2010, the code"Design Standard for Energy Efficiency of Residential Buildings in Severe Cold and Cold Regions"JGJ26-2010 is issued. This code firstly proposes that the heat transfer coefficient limits of exterior window should be determined by the area ratio of window to wall in different orientations, while the heat transfer coefficient limits of exterior wall still are determined by regions, not by orientations. In China, the central heating area covers a vast territory, and has different solar radiation, especially in Tibet and Qinghai province. The different orientations of heating buildings receive different solar radiation quantity, so that the heat transfer capacity through north and south exterior wall is different, which results in the thermal environment in north and south orientation room is different. The insulation structure by equal heat flow is an effective method to solve this problem. So this thesis proposes the heat transfer coefficient limit of insulation structure by equal heat flow for central heating buildings in typical city of north China. It's referenced for exterior wall insulation design.Based on the tested data of meteorological stations in China, and considering the effect of atmospheric long-wave radiation on exterior wall at night, the sol-air temperature in different orientations for several central heating buildings is calculated. Then the heat transfer coefficient ratio of each orientation in different cities is calculated by equal heat flow theory. This studies on insulation structure by equal heat flow is based on meeting the demand of energy conservation, the steady-state and unsteady methods of exterior wall heat transfer coefficient limit of equal heat flow insulation system are provided by equal heat consumption.The energy simulation software is used to simulate building heat loss and base room temperature. The evaluation index, accumulative total heat consumption in heating season of a typical building layer, is used to determine the heat transfer coefficient limit of multilayer and high layer exterior wall in different regions by equal heat flow insulation, and the improvement level of non-uniform heating in south and north rooms is analyzed. This research proposes a method for the theory of insulation structure by equal heat flow. It's significant and referenced for the residence energy efficiency design and construction.
