| Shock-isolation technology is an effective, economical and practical new damping technology. It found that the damage of the structure which the isolation layer was set between the base and the upper structure in the earthquake is much smaller than in the Anti-seismic structure from the domestic and international.The layer interval shock structure is a new damping technology which is developed on the basis of the base-isolated technology. The layer interval shock structure is used in the Size rules structure and the layer top surface or the underside of the basement in the current seismic code in countries. However, in practical engineering applications, due to terrain and building functional requirements, it is difficult to meet the specification requirements, so as to break this limit, the middle layer isolation layer is set in the structure forming a new kind of isolation by shock system-story isolation damping system. Story isolation damping system has unique features. Generally, the isolation layer is set in the structure of the quality or the vertical stiffness mutantly. the location of the isolation layer can be set in the top layer, middle layer and the top and so on.The base isolation layer damping mechanism and the current status of the development for isolation structure was described in this paper at first. Through the model analysis of the layer of isolation structure, the layer of isolation structure dynamic equation were. Then taking the frame-shear wall of a ten layers as an example. The model were established through the ANSYS finite element analysis software. And the time history earthquake response is analysis for the models.
