Energy-Dissipation Braced Frame(EDBF) as a new kind of energy-disspition structure forms. This kind of structure is not to adopt the traditional thinking of "strengthen" the main structure, but to dissipate a great deal of earthquake energy by the non-elastic distortion of the energy-dissipation braced frame systems, reduce seismic response of structure greatly, consequently, ensure main structure safety under strong motion, so the energy-dissipation braced frame structure is a kind of structure that is safe. but, the study on the mechanic characteristics of the EDBF is very poor at present, especially for the EDBF with different collocation forms. So it has a great significance to go deep into researching the aseismic behavior of it.In this thesis, the longitudinal braced frame of power factory with energy-dissipation as a object, based on it a frame structure model and X type,K type EDBF are established respectively and analyzed in the way of validated method of simulation, and go deep into researching the deformation performance,the emergence of the plastic hinge location and order of development,the failure course and feature, and the aseismic behavior of energy-dissipation braced frame structure.The results shows that not only excellent displacement stiffness but also favorable energy-dissipation ability under the strong earthquake energy are obtained by adding energy-dissipation brace system in span of pillars, and X type of energy-dissipation braced frame structure has a better aseismic behavior than K type. At last some original conclusion and advice is attained in this thesis, the foundation is provided for application of EDBF.
