With the offshore wind power technology becoming more and more ripe, fixedoffshore wind platforms in shallow water of coastline have made a lot of development.European countries have conducted research and experimental system about offshorefloating wind power to make full use of offshore wind resources in the deepwater area. Thepilot floating wind turbines of Norwegian oil company have run two years in North Sea.The expand of offshore wind farm in deep sea region is an inevitable trend and researchfocus about the developing of offshore wind power. In response to this trend, makingresearch in the floating wind power is the issue of this paper.Nowadays, floating wind power generation program mainly have horizontal axis windturbine to design floating foundation. Since the big power and lager scale of wind turbine,in order to reduce the influence of interference between the wind turbine, the spacing ofwind turbine become more lager. So, the scale of the floating foundation are very lager, andone floating foundation can only installation only one horizontal axis wind turbine. This canmake investment price very low and influence the developing of floating wind power.This article attempt to design a new kind of floating cluster offshore wind power baseplatform, and take advantage of low center of gravity, high wind energy utilization, startingwith low wind speed, low noise and especially the characteristic of the vertical axis windturbine reciprocal interference was small. For the purpose of reducing the consumed costbase of offshore floating platforms, increasing the wind resistance, and obtain much morewind power, the article combine the cluster floating offshore wind power base platform andthe vertical axis wind turbine to form only one cluster-based with lots of VAWT. This paperpropose conceptual design of cluster floating base platform and VAWT, and take advantageof NAPA software to calculate reply moment to take analysis of the design model stabilityand make sure that the floating base platform fulfill stability requirements.The article make use of SESAM/GeniE module to establish exact finite element modelof cluster-based platform floating wind power, and use the SESAM/DeepC module to studythe coupling situation between the cluster-based platform floating wind power and securingcable, at last, make analysis of the motion response time domain of the cluster-basedplatform floating wind power mooring system. This paper obtain the swing, heave motionresponse amplitude and mooring tension of floating wind power base platform system at the circumstances by effect of wind and storm. In the consideration of environmental factors,the design of cluster-based platform floating wind power can generate electricity normally.In order to research the fluid performance of the vertical axis wind turbine, this paperuse embedded dynamic mesh slip to make analysis of the numerical simulation of fluidperformance between single vertical axis wind turbine with vertical axis wind turbinecluster in the uniform flow. According to the simulation results of single vertical axis windturbine and vertical axis wind turbine cluster under the certain wind velocity, this paperhave make analysis of the velocity field and pressure field around the single-blade windturbine and the velocity field and pressure field around one of vertical axis wind turbinecluster. Thereby, this paper obtain results of some basic fluid performance and theinteraction between wind turbine group.
