The application of concrete structure strengthened by CFRP has been the rapid developmentwith its superior performance, domestic and foreign scholars have made a lot of achievements inscientific research, many countries have formulated relevant speciifcation to suit their ownconditions. Because the strengthening technology of concrete structure started late relatively andweak in basic research, some problems still exist in the application, which have been researched inthis paper. Based on the existing research results at home and abroad, we will conduct numericalsimulation through a series of carbon fiber sheet reinforced concrete damage component test underthe action of horizontal load and the large finite element software of ANSYS. we study that thecarbon fiber cloth reinforced concrete deformation, stress, damage mechanism the failure mode, hysteretic characteristics etc., which provides the basis and reference for the future research anddesign. The main problem solved in this paper:(1)Axial compression ratio is an important factor to affect the reinforced concrete columnstructure performance, the paper mainly studies the impact of such factors on the mechanicalproperties of reinforced concrete columns and CFRP strengthened reinforced concrete columns.By using ANSYS finite element analysis software to simulate low cycle repeated displacementloaded, analyzed the mechanical properties of the specimen in the axial compression ratioconditions.Through research, recommended pressure ratio is not greater than0.6eatrhquake zoneaxis of the reinforced concrete columns, so as to ensure the ultimate bearing capacity of reinforcedconcrete columns to some extent improve the ductility does not decrease too much; in the use ofCFRP "the reinforcement of the horizontal bar with two layers+vertical bar with two floors+endof the two-anchor ",its mechanical properties have been improved to varying degrees, the increaseof axial compression ratio column deformation capacity weakened, but the column level thecarrying capacity has been signiifcantly improved, and further stimulated the the fiber clothconstraints concrete role in enhancing the fiber reinforcement effect.(2)Seismic properties and ductility of eighteen carbon fiber concrete columns reinforced withcarbon fiber are carried on the numerical analysis by ANSYS. Those columns have been testedunder low cyclic loading. We investigated the effects of axial compression ratio and horizontalcarbon fiber reinforcement in the failure characteristics, the mechanical properties and failuremechanism of reinforced concrete columns. The tests showed that reinforcing concrete columnwith carbon fiber has a significant effect. What’s more, hysteretic performance, seismic propertiesand ductility has been significantly improved, and the reinforcement rules are summarized.(3)Seismic propetries and ductility of eighteen carbon fiber concrete columns reinforced withcarbon fiber are carried on the numerical analysis by ANSYS. Those columns have been testedunder low cyclic loading. We investigated the effects of axial compression ratio and Longitudinalcarbon fiber reinforcement in the failure characteristics, the mechanical properties and failuremechanism of reinforced concrete columns. The tests showed that reinforcing concrete columnwith carbon fiber has a significant effect. What’s more, hysteretic performance, seismic propertiesand ductility has been significantly improved, and the reinforcement rules are summarized.(4)Seismic properties and ductility of five carbon fiber concrete columns reinforced with carbonfiber are carried on the numerical analysis by ANSYS. Those columns have been tested under lowcyclic loading. We investigated the cffccts of axial compression ratio and horizontal carbon fiberreinforcement in the failure characteristics, the mechanical properties and failure mechanism of reinforced concrete columns. Tests showed that different reinforcement have different effects onthe mechanical properties of the reinforced concrete columns. What’s more, hystereticperformance, seismic properties and ductility has been significantly improved.
