There are120kinds of fault types for double-circuit transmission lines, including98kinds of cross line fault and22kinds of single line fault.Although cross line fault overwhelmingly in the fault types, but statistics show that the single line fault’s possibility is very large. As a result, for with double circuit transmission lines, considering the cross line fault at the same time, also have to consider with the single line fault. Analysis with the special type and the complexity of the double circuit transmission line towers, the three-phase system decoupling matrix are generalized to double circuit transmission lines, decoupling matrix of double circuit transmission lines is set up.Analysis with double circuit transmission line towers special structure, is a ring network, according to this characteristic, respectively use the voltage traveling wave and time domain, put forward the voltage traveling wave method and time domain fault location method suitable for asingle line fault. The wavelet energy combined with fractal box dimension by using the minimum circle algorithm, which overcome the disadvantage of respectively to measure them.
