| With the urgent need of bullet muzzle velocity and frequency in modern warfare, ablation damage of barrel inside wall is more and more serious, the research and structural optimization of barrel ablation has become very necessary. In this paper, we do research of one certain machine gun, considering the randomness of barrel parameters, do analysis of its reliable life with stochastic finite element method analysis and do structural optimization, following points are the main research contents:(1) For a typical weapon barrel, according to the existing barrel geometry, we established finite element model with hypermesh and ANSYS, applying the necessary boundary conditions and loads, do coupling analysis of thermal and dynamics. Finally, we can get the distribution of stress and temperature. Considering distribution of barrel material and size parameters, combining the reliability theory and national army shooting specification to get the model barrel reliable life distribution.(2) For a typical weapon barrel, firstly we got the sensitivity parameters with Monte Carlo method and do research of the relationship between parameters with scatter plot, then we built the performance function by the sensitive parameters with improved response surface model method and do analysis of parameters sensitivity values.(3) For a typical weapon barrel, since we have gotten the barrel abalation performance function, considering the imposed constraints in optimization:maximum stress, the bullet velocity, vibration frequency and size constraints, combined with the theory of reliability design, using Genetic Algorithm and Gauss-Newton methods to complete the reliability optimization of barrel ablation life;(4)With the completion of the reliability analysis and structural optimization, using the software connectors between MATLAB with Excel and ANSYS with Excel, realizing data transmission of Excel between MATLAB and ANSYS, and then we completed development of coupling analysis of thermal and dynamics software module and optimization design software module. |
