Micro-grid technology is not only an effective method of the utilization anddevelopment for new energy and distributed generation, but also a foundation of smartgrid research. Constructing micro-grid consist of wind power and photovoltaic power isthe important means of energy development and utilization for the area where is rich inwind or sunshine. The optimal configuration of power supply capacity and micro-gridcontrol strategy is the core content of micro-grid technology. The current research on microsources configuration of capacity mainly for independent operation, though configurationresults can guarantee the reliability of the system, it increased the redundant investment.Based on the parallel operation of Wind/Photovoltaic/Storage micro-grid, it studies therelationship among the micro sources’ configuration of the capacity. According to theenergy storage capacity configured for Wind/Photovoltaic/Storage micro-grid is more thanthe load capacity of the conclusion, a control Strategy of Wind/Photovoltaic/Storagemicro-grid based on the combined energy Storage Solutions is proposed, the main contentsare as follows:(1) For the parallel operation of Wind/Photovoltaic/Storage micro-grid, formulates thepurchasing strategy between the micro-grid and main-grid, the double target model ofeconomy and reliability is established. With8760hours for the whole year as the researchrange, uses multi-objective simulated annealing particle swarm optimization algorithm,calculates the double objective model and gets the Pareto optimal solution set, obtainscapacity configuration scheme of wind power, photovoltaic power and energy storage inthe micro-grid, according to the result of configuration, analysis economy and reliability ofnetwork during the parallel operation of micro-grid. Results shows that compared with theindependent operation, under the same reliability requirement, getting the configuration ofmicro-sources’ capacity on the perspective of parallel operation in theWind/Photovoltaic/Storage micro-grid, can obviously reduce the micro net investmentcost.(2) Proposes hybrid energy storage solutions based on distributed storage andcentralized storage; on the MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation platform, respectively set upthe equivalent model of wind power generation systems, photovoltaic power generation system and energy storage system, analyses the distributed energy storage controller andthe control principle of parallel inverter, established the PQ, VF control system simulationmodel of the micro-grid, established the Wind/Photovoltaic/Storage micro-grid simulationmodel; Island of micro power grid operation state, the load and the power of the cutting,Island/paralleled mode conversion, and transporting energy from micro-grid to main-gridare simulated and verifies the proposed storage scheme and the feasibility of the controlstrategy. The simulation results show that the control strategy reduces the complexity ofinverter control in micro-grid, improves the utilization efficiency of energy storage system,improves the flexibility and makes energy storage system schedulable.
