With the anisotropy, non-continuity, complexity, and spatial and temporal effects of the rock, thus there are some discontinuities, uncertainties and discontinuities in the mechanical parameters. In geotechnical engineering, the fuzzy uncertainty of rock mechanical parameters and thelimitations of the test method often restrict the correct evaluation of the project. With thegeneralized Hoek-Brown experience strength criterion as a theoretical basis, and took the theoryof sensitivity analysis and interval interval value theory to into it, rock mass mechanicalparameters in methods, the method could reduced subjectivity, targeted testing supplement, considering the advantages to uncertain mechanical parameters of rock reached stabilitycoefficient values to better reflect the range of practical engineering. Generalized Hoek-Brown,this paper guidelines, sensitivity analysis of interval theory and mathematical theories as thetheoretical basis, parameter selection and stability analysis of high slope of Guangxi expresswaywere studied in the paper, conclusions were drawn:(1) The quantitative methods of the Hoek-Brown parameters and each parameter theconversion relationship of Mohr-Coulomb criterion parameters with Hoek-Brown parameters arestudied systematically, but also the guidelines in rock engineering advantages and limitations arestudied;(2) Based on the ambiguity of parameters selection of generalized Hoek-Brown criteria, thesensitivity analysis theory is used for sensitivity analysis of the criteria parameters, thesensitivity of each parameter and the parameter sensitivity range size comparison in this paper.Theoretical support is provided while select rock mechanics parameters to reduce the subjectivityso that rock mass parameters estimation criterion close to the actual rock with Hoek-Browncriteria;(3) The qualitative and quantitative slope stability evaluation methods were used in the paper, and study the limit equilibrium method and strength reduction based on the generalizedHoek-Brown criterion. The Slide and FLAC3D software were used for numerical calculations ofa Guangxi highway rock high slope, the factor of safety interval values are [1.315,1.406] and[1.26,1.38], indicate that the slope is stable.
