In order to obtain the design scheme of a set of safety, environmental protection and economy and at the same time to meet the requirements of all the design specifications and related indicators, Highway alignment design——as an important part of highway design, however, has become the primary problem facing the new era of development of the industry, compared with the traditional method of how to faster and more high quality to complete the above work. Therefore, experts and scholars of various well-known colleges and universities have been taking the lead in the domestic launch of highway alignment intelligent optimization field exploration, especially put forward and development of virtual environment railway, highway route CAD technology, and the genetic algorithm, particle swarm algorithm, ant colony algorithm and many other intelligent optimization algorithm in-depth study, vigorously promote China’s development in the field of intelligent line selection and made great, milepost type progress, lay a solid scientific research foundation for the following research, it’s really significance.However, although the domestic strength has basically reached the level of the advanced and rapid development of this world. Such restricting factors as cost, resources, policy and mountainous, special terrain environment with local characteristics, and especially in recent years, many countries from lower ones gradually to the vast number of mountain areas have expanded to support the construction of large background requirements. How to reasonably consider the demand of high class of the highway construction in mountainous areas comprehensively become the considering factors influence in the complex mountainous terrains, and efficient highway alignment design and meeting the relevant standard, minimum impacts on the ecological environment and meet the national production and life for traffic safety, efficiency, comfort needs and other issues has been difficult to be reasonable and effective solutions.Therefore, this paper, based on genetic algorithm andsome experts’experience, combined with the related highway alignment design in mountainous areas in China, refered a large number of documents and through the analysis and Research on the long time, has put forward this set of high class highway in mountain areas, which based on genetic algorithm of intelligent optimization method of longitudinal section. The method has compared with the previous studies and it can better solve the problem of longitudinal section design of mountainous terrain condition of our country, the specific work is divided into the following several aspects:(1) It introduces the research of mountainous terrain conditions of high class highway line selection principle and the design of the vertical alignment of the research ideas and the choice of relevant parameters.(2) It constructs the overall framework of the intelligent optimization system of mountain highway vertical section which based on genetic algorithm, combines the train of thought of the research and analyses the function orientation, methods and characteristics of it, and determines the main process optimization.(3) Due to the relevant requirements of the characteristics of China’s mountains and high class highway design,based on analysis of consolidation, and adjust the thinking of research,aiming at the actual situation is more close to the mountainous areas of the highway construction, to the volume of work, operation, traffic safety and environmental impact in many aspects,such as the goal discussion and evaluation mechanism which is established in accordance with the actual, has built specifically for the mountainous area the terrain conditions of high class of the highway vertical section intelligent optimization model.(4) The authou introdued, analysized, and summarized the basic principle and characteristics of all kinds of methods of genetic algorithm, and combined the basis of the research on coding method, genetic operators, termination criteria and other aspects of the corresponding adjustment and the improvement to meet the optimization process of high quality, high efficiency requirements of section optimization, genetic algorithm, which is designed for high grade Highway Mountain vertical.(5) The author conclusted the previous research results and the corresponded the research based on Microsoft, using Visual Studio with C# language to develop intelligent optimization system of high class highway in mountainous area profile.. Cased comparative analysis through the city of Jingzhou, a mountain of two highway actual project design data, to verify the optimization results of this system. Which I think is not less than the artificial design, bridge and tunnel length, the volume of excavation and filling etc. some indices I think are even better than artificial schemes, And a significant reduction in costs and also greatly shorten the time of designing, which greatly improves our design efficiently.
