With the rapid development of Chinese high-grade highway network, the tractor-semitrailer plays an increasingly important role in material circulation with its hang volume, low cost advantages and high efficiency. Compared with the ordinary vehicle, the force of tractor-semitrailer is more complex, because of structure of combination and interacting between tractor and trailer. As loadage and running speed of tractor-semitrailer increased with technology advances, it is prone to "jackknifing", "sway", "oscillatory" and induces handling instability.How to improve the vehicle handling stability has been a focus pursuing goal for the automobile manufacturers and research institutes.This paper mainly study the linear regression between the evaluation index of tractor semitrailer handling stability and the structure parameters, matching and optimizing of vehicle structure parameters, so as to improve the handling stability of tractor semitrailer.Access to a lot of relevant information, select the 10 semi-trailer trains important structural parameters, refer to the passenger car handling stability objective evaluation method of selecting indicators, from the practical evaluation methods, evaluation of objectivity and evaluation of vehicle handling and stability operability and other aspects of starting, choose four handling stability objective evaluation:Load Transfer Ratio,Static Roll Threshold,Reward Amplification Ratio,Ratio of Yaw Rata.Software-based TruckSim tractor semitrailer vehicle model established by single lane-change test,based on objective evaluation, by analyzing the influence of parameters on vehicle handling and stability, and to determine the six parameters of the vehicle matcherwheelbase of tractor, CG height of tractor,suspension stiffness of tractor rear axle,wheelbase of semitrailer,distance between CG of semitrailer sprung mass (unloaded) and coupling pin and suspension stiffness of semitrail. Using orthogonal experiment method, taking the optimal test method with The Times, it is concluded that the semi-trailer train car in five kinds of load cases, the objective evaluation index and the structure parameters of multivariate linear regression equation, USES the theory of multiple linear regression analysis, analysis of linear regression equation, determine the semi-trailer train car two comprehensive objective evaluation indexes:Rollover stability comprehensive evaluation index and yaw stability comprehensive evaluation index. Application of multi-objective linear programming optimization method, the tractor semi trailer rollover stability comprehensive evaluation index and yaw stability comprehensive evaluation index as the objective function, with 6 vehicle parameters as the optimized variables.The comparison results indicated that the optimal vehicle model still had a better handling stability performance than the initial one.
