With the continuous expansion of the scale of city water supply,usually,the new city water supply pipe network is connected with the built supply pipe network by Tee,the flow coming from different directions will “impact” on the moments of opening and closing of the valve,the "impact" between water and water supply accessories will make change of energy flow、mutation. These mutations have great influence on safe and stable operation of the municipal water supply network, easy to cause the water pipe burst or not economic operation. Therefore, this article has conducted the research to the water supply network in "impact" flow.Based on the simulation of FLUENT, Matlab software, this paper focuses on the different conditions of T type equidiameter three pipe internal energy loss, flow field analysis, and the valve is closed instantly three way pipe flow characteristics.. The results show that the vertical and horizontal branch pipe and water pipe, the water loss coefficient than the vertical branch was 1.88 ~ 3.47 times; when the water level of the water supply pipe, water supply pipe and loss coefficient ratio of about 1.01 to 1.94 times; vertical single pipe water supply, the water loss coefficient ratio is about coefficient of horizontal pipe 2.2 to 2.55 times. In order to study the flow characteristics of valve closing moment three pipe, this paper qualitative, quantitative analysis of water hammer wave propagation characteristics in the typical working conditions; and simulation, the pressure changes on each point of the analysis of pipe valve closing process time change after using the Matlab software, the control of water hammer and preventive measures.In this paper, through simulation, theoretical analysis on three pipe flow field distribution, variation of water loss coefficient and flow field effect on the three way valve closed in, provides some theoretical support for the municipal water supply network security, stability, economic and efficient operation.
