Nowdays, with the increasingly serious environmental problems caused by the economic growth in the traditional energy, the traditional fuel vehicles has the characteristics of high pollution and high energy consumption, endangering human survival environment and the living environment.Energy and environment problem is becoming more and more attention, the electric vehicles is a non-polluting conserving oil resources car, it has became the inevitable trend of auto industry development. Electric vehicle has many advantages in terms of energy conservation and emissions reduction, but it will produce a lot of harmonic current in the battery charging process, can cause great harm to power grid. Analyzing the harmonic characteristics of the charging stations, the development of rational harmonic suppression program is particularly important to ensure good power quality,it has great importance to maintain the grid in a safe and stable environment. This paper first introduces the development status of domestic and international electric vehicle, considering the impact on the power station electric vehicle charging from the harmonic. The simulation model is established in accordance with the charger model through MATLAB,the equivalent nonlinear resistance obtained by the output power curve, a charging station model is established, the correctness of the model is verified through simulation and experimental waveforms. Analysising of the charging stations harmonic characteristics based on the model, giving harmonic control program. Finally, through an actual charging station case, analysising of the harmonic problem, assessing its harmonic basing on the national standards, giving the governance program.
