In recent years, the development of the quantum dot sensitized solar cells by leaps and bounds and strikingly. This type of battery is on the basis of dye-sensitised cells who has developed a new type of solar cells, and has a broad prospect of development and application. Titanium dioxide(TiO2) is a kind of transition metal oxide semiconductor material, the width of band gap is 3.2 eV, with non-toxic, harmless, corrosion resistance, abundant, the production cost is low and stable chemical properties, high optical activity, light the advantages of the excellent electrochemical performance, preparation and development of solar cells is considered to be an ideal material.In this paper, TiO2 nanocrystalline array was prepared by hydrothermal method on titanium plate, We studied the growth time and temperature tothe morphology and size of TiO2, and researched the Ti O2 light anode photoelectric properties of solar cells.Then, ues the continuous ion adsorption and reaction method and electrochemical deposition to deposited cadmium selenide layer on titanium dioxide, connected by mercapto propionic acid as a agent to modify the surface of TiO2 to make TiO2 and CdSe close together. Study the CdSe sensitized TiO2 photoelectric properties of solar cells.On the other hand, due to the some parts of TiO2 electrode not have been sensitized by CdSe, direct contact with the electrolyte can cause corrosion of TiO2 and optical electronic and composite electrode, thus will affect the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the battery. So, this article will increase outside of the CdSe/TiO2 electrode passivation layer(ZnSe, ZnS, administered CdS, etc.), to form the different coated CdSe/TiO2 light of anode passivation layer solar cells. And fianlly, photovoltaic performance of the solar cells were discussed and researched deeply.
