Domestic automotive seals manufacturer use "trial and error" method to design and production automotive seals, engineers use experience to design extrusion dies, and to continuously optimize the extrusion dies. Automobile sealing strip exists extrusion swell phenomenon in the extrusion process, leading to inconsistent extrusion cross section and export-oriented, needing to constantly test and repair mold, extrusion die design time is long, development cost is higher, sealing rubber waste.Sealing strip extrusion mold simulation analysis model is seted up in this paper, using Polyflow flow analysis software, sealing strip extrusion forming process simulation, analyzing the causes of extrusion swell, and studying on wall slip coefficient and inlet flow rate and extrusion die thickness of the effect to single material and two composite seal. Base on simulation of seal extrusion, optimizing sealing strip extrusion dies. Sealing strip reverse extrusion simulation, the reverse design extrusion die for extrusion die trial, testing seal product quality and extrusion dies are necessary to meet production requirements.Through the simulation of seal extrusion forming process and analysis of influence of various factors on extrusion, in order to adjust the sealing strip extrusion production process parameters provide a reference. Automotive sealing strip extrusion dies’ inverse design and extrusion dies’ optimization can reduce design time for extrusion dies, reducing the cost of trial production of extrusion dies and a waste of raw materials.
