In Chinese ancient architecture,there is mainly timberwork.Timberwork building has an unique structure-mortise and tenon(without a nail and a iron).Connection of mortise and tenon structure is a characteristic of traditional Chinese architecture, it is a kind of concave and convex combination to connect with two ways on the wooden parts. After hundreds or even thousands of years, mortise and tenon joint structure of ancient buildings will be affected by all kinds of damage, and wooden beams also has encountered natural disasters(such as acid rain remorseless siege), and man-made destruction, inevitably caused damage to historic building, so we need effective ways to strengthen timberwork building.In this paper, we got the hysteresis curves, skeleton curves by low reversed cyclic load of glass fiber reinforcement of mortise and tenon timberwork experimental study; And through the test research of the glass fiber reinforced the wooden beams by acid rain corrosion,we got the load and strain curve;Analyzed the experimental phenomena and the experimental data, etc. before and after reinforcement, we got the bearing capacity of the structure before and after the performance, ductility and ultimate bearing capacity of beam, the results shows the good effect of glass fiber reinforced wood.Based on the ANSYS simulation of wood low cyclic test,we studies the structure of the bearing capacity and damage.Analyze and compare experiments and simulation curve, ultimate bearing capacity, etc.we verify the difference within the scope of the permit;We used GFRP strengthening mortise and tenon joint structure:Under different glass fiber reinforcement layer, we compared bearing capacity, ductility and rigidity of mortise and tenon joint structure; We also compared the bearing capacity, ductility and rigidity in the same layer by glass fiber strengthening under the different parts of mortise and tenon joint structure, it shows that the best layers and the best part of the mortise and tenon joint structure under glass fiber reinforced. In addition, we use ANSYS simulating wood beams with GFRP,through two different size of the wooden beams,we compared and analyzed two kinds of the ductility and bearing capacity of the beam on different layers of GFRP reinforcement.
