Rubber sealing element for the rockets, missiles, ammunition and weapons and equipment, it has good seal performance, high reliability, long life and other excellent features. But as a high polymer material, the rubber main defect is easy ageing, with the increase of using time, rubber sealing performance will be more and more low, if you can’t predict its service life, before the loss rubber performance to maintenance and replacement timely, it will directly affect the normal use of weapons and equipment, because the rubber material failure caused a lot of tragedy in history, to say the rubber sealing ring sealing performance is good or bad directly affects the length of the weapons and equipment storage life.For the rubber material of long life and high reliability and performance of slow degradation material, bound by time and test cost, the traditional life test basic unable to collect enough useful performance degradation data, thus it is difficult to establish the corresponding degradation path model, a review of its service life has a big impact.In this paper, the missile with type O rubber sealing ring as the research object, using accelerated degradation test method to test, study the performance parameters of the degradation regularity and accurately predict its storage life. In this paper, I design in four different degradation temperature under the condition of constant stress acceleration test, collect each sample performance degradation data under the condition of different stress and time, using accelerated degradation data based on the performance of reliability and life assessment method, combining with Arrhenius equation faster, established the corresponding trajectory equation 0 rubber seal performance degradation, and thus calculate the test of life of the 0 rubber sealing ring is almost seven years. Article also designed the different conditions of temperature and humidity accelerated degradation test, the test results show that the moisture helps to delay the aging of rubber materials. Overall, in this paper, the reliability and service life of rubber material evaluation results precision is good, has reached the expected purpose, can be used as the life of the rubber material assessment provides valuable reference.
