The paper described the design of high-power intellectual charger for the lead-acid accumulator, including the research on charge method and charge power supply.Based on the investigation of many charge methods, a new charge method -the intermittent charge method with variable voltage was brought forward.For the discharged battery had been restored to full charge, the charge.time was much retrenched by this method. Ground on the HFSPS (High-Frequency Switching Power Supply), the converter was designed as ZVSFBC (Zero-Voltage Switching Full-Bridge Converter), and PCCFC (Phase Control Current Frequency Converter) was designed. In the converter, the phase shift control IC was UC3875, and IGBT (Isolated Gate Bipolar Transistor) was selected as the switch that was driven by EXB841 module.FLC (Fuzzy Logic Control) was used to realize the charge method.
