An installation on a visually experimental ice-storage cooling tank with plasticcoil was established, and a reffigerating system providing cold source for the tankwas set uP. Freezing process was exPerimentally stUdied, and effect of tempetalreand flow on freezing was analyzed at inPut of glycol.Investigation about enhancemeni of heat transfer was cwhed out by twomethods, where metal wire winding outside the coil and stirring installation wereused. The results indicate that both methods can enhance heat trgnsfer. Photos weretaken for the freezing of metal wire winding, and the effect was visually shown.A mathematical model about freezing process was established. Numericalcomparetion was conducted for different working sitUation. CompUtation was madewith experimental results, and their variations were analyzed.
