Transfer Alignment, which uses the information of the calibrated aircraft INS to calibrate another INS onboard the missile, is a very important technology for the weapons. The duration of the transfer alignment will decide the preparation period to launch the missile, and the misalignment will determine the navigation precision the missile can reach in flight. This paper first researches some traditional transfer alignment models, then put the emphasis on one of the rapid transfer alignment methods. The main work of this paper is: 1. The concept, process and The already done Work of transferaligmnent are briefly introduced; 2. The coordinate systems, error models and initial alignment of the inertial system which will be used in building the transfer alignment model later are discussed; 3. The Kalman Filter theory is introduced and the robust of the filter is discussed; 4. The velocity matching, angular rate matching and specific force matching transfer alignment are researched, the mathematics models of these traditional methods are presented, and after they are classified as computered-parameter matching and measured-parameter matching, their features are summarized; 5. S-Maneuver, Circle-Maneuver and Line-Maneuver are designed for velocity matching transfer alignment procedures, and the states to be included in the velocity matching transfer alignment kalman filter are chosen, the flexture model of the aircraft wings is given, and then the simulation results are analyzed; 6. The velocity and attitude matching transfer alignment procedure are Modeled, Wingrock and PopUp maneuvers for the simulation are designed, and the simulation results are analyzed; 7. The reduced-order transfer alignment kalmen filters of the velocity matching and velocity and attitude matching transfer alignment are designed, the results of the simulation are compared with the full-order filters; 8. The management, transfer and fusion of the multisensor information are introduced.
