The purpose of this thesis is to study the large range low frequency vibration control of Benfield system frame in Jianfeng Ammonia plant.Firstly, the low frequency vibration of Benfield frame is analyzed and tested. The nature and reason of the vibration of Benfield frame are analyzed. A modulation theory is suggested and displayed to explain the low frequency vibration reason of Benfield frame. As Benfield frame is in service, it is impossible to take the method of changing the design of the relational equipments and piping to reduce the vibration , it will take too many times and money. Taking account of the production conditions, we selected passive control methods to reduce the vibration of the frame.Secondly,this thesis analyses and tests the dynamics characteristics of the frame . The first inherent frequency has been ascertained by dynamics characteristics tested, analyzed and finite element calculated , strongly supports us to choose the scheme of benfield frame vibration control.Thirdly five kinds of vibration control schemes are put forward and discussed in details. The finite element method is used to analyze the dynamics characteristics of frame under the five kinds of control condition. Finally, A combination evaluation of the five kinds of vibration control schemes is introduced by integration control effect, reliability of dampers and the cost et , the optimun scheme has been put forward.
