Experimental Study On Measuring The Focal Length Of Lens Automatically On The Optical Bench

In order to measure the focal length of lens automatically,linear CCD is used as receiver on behalf of eyes on the basis of original experiment equipment measuring the focal length of lens.A kind of method determining the focal plane automatically is put forward and analysed theoretically in this text,based on the theory of Point Spread Function. The results of experiment show that the autofocusing method is utile;Several methods used often are compared and analyzed in this text,after confirming the focal plane and in the course of processing the data got by measuring.Finally center of mass method is used to execute measuring the focal length of lens.
