Rotating rectifier brushless generators are one of the important solutions to modern isolated electrical power generating system. In the first part of this dissertation, the critical part of isolated electrical power generating system such as VSCF electrical power generating system , High Voltage DC electrical power generating system, the rotating rectifier brushless AC generator, is presented. Firstly, the performance of brushless AC generator is analysed. Then, the design procedure of main generator and exciter is introduced. Finally, the usage method, programming technique, debugging and installation of visual motor CAD is presented. In the second part of this dissertation, the grammar and the basic method of developing a Saber component model using Mast language of the sofeware Saber is thoroughly discussed. An example is taken here to examine the validity of the model developed in this way. Simulation using the simulating sofeware Saber is introuduced in Chapter 6, including essential content and methods and steps. The static and dynamic characteristics of a rotating rectifier brushless generator is obtained through the simulation by Saber.By the research of this dissertation, top level software platform has basically built , which consists of visual motor CAD of the new generation and analyse and research work based on Saber simulation software.
