Computer Auxiliary Study on Cavitation and Damagein Hydraulic ValveAbstractApplicant :Li ZhiboSupervisor :Associate Professor Hu Guoqing Professor Lin QiA phenomenon of cavitation and damage in flow field and the principle of cavitation and damage in hydraulic valve and its influencing factors are studied in the paper.First, according to the design requirement of hydraulic valve, the particular parameter of the valve is put forward, and the Navier-Stokes equation of the two-dimension impressible viscid fluid in the hydraulic valve is set up.In analyzing the flow field, the limited difference method of partial differential equation is employed, and the differential form of the flows in the valve is derived. ~While in the calculation of the limited difference method, it makes kinetic parameters of ~t' , , ii , v and pressure of p separated. The pressure result is deduced form the solution of the kinetic parameters.The phenomenon of cavitation and damage is niainlv related to the distribution of pressure. The distribution of cavitation parameter can be derived from the distribution of pressure, and on the basis of the distribution of cavitation parameter, the cavitation & damage in the hydraulic valve is decided. Further, the moving track of the cavity and its changing regularity of radius can be get along ~vith the transformation of the pressure.In the calculation of this paper, MATLAB programming language is applied. In the past, FORTRAN language is mostly used in scientific computation. Relativel~~ MATLAB language is more powerful than oilier computing language, especially in computation fluid mechanics, it helps to simply draw charts of Vortex, Stream Function, Velocity, Pressure, and the amount of work can be extremely reduced, and the program coniplving can also be controlled easily.Formerly, the studs' of cavitation and damage is mostly about water engineering architecture and high speed oblects under water. However the cavitation and damage in hydraulic valve is studied rarely, there were just a few references on theomy. The numerical analysis is given on theInbasis of particular parameter, and in the last, some results are obtained from the computation andthe analysis.
