Based on the commissioning operation of HFPP's 2 X 660MW generator unit in HBPN, influence on network stability by large generator unit fault trip out was analyzed in the paper. The problem solution is submitted and verified by site test. The main contents are as follows:1. Analyze and calculate the influence on network frequency and power flows on tie line when 660MW generator unit trips out from HBPN.2. Analyze and compare necessary measures in eliminating the influence on HBPN when HFPP 660MW generator unit trips. Primary frequency regulation was selected as effective solution.3. Calculation of PFR parameters and verified by site test.4.
