This thesis firstly describes the characteristics of the three phase asynchronous motor's mathematical models, and then, systematically discusses the modeling methods for an AC motor with the A-B-C three phase reference frame and the static two phase reference frame. The thesis also introduces a three phase asynchronous motor's mathematical model in a-b static reference frame. A real-time simulation system for AC motors is developed. The simulation system has been used for developing a vector control inverter system for AC motors. Simulation tests have been conducted for a real-time AC motor and satisfied results have been obtained. The simulation results are compared with the experiment data. The mathematical model is proved to be correct and the simulation system is useful. This thesis presents the software and hardware design of a new type constant pressure water supply system using a single-chip microprocessor controller. The frequency of power supply to the motors is controlled by the microprocessor to keep the water pressure constant. The control system consists of a 8951 single-chip microprocessor and interface circuits. The pressure in the water supply pipe is the controlled variable and a closed loop system is constructed. The designed system is available for the automatic water supply requirement of high buildings and boilers. The ship motion control platform is sponsored by "211 projects". The thesis systematically introduces the designing ideas , equipment schemes and hardware , software schemes. The platform uses a scaled model ship to conduct tests instead of a fully scaled ship. The ship motion control platform can be used to carry out various ship motion control experiments.
