Steel fiber reinforced concrete is a new building material developed in recent years. Its excellent properties have been resulting in its use for highway and airport pavements with great expectations in the future. In the paper, the traditional technology on research and manufacture of SFRC, that is cement + steel fiber + additive (JT) and other comprehensive manners were adopted. In view of speedy-strength SFRC, the materials and mix proportions were selected carefully and a lot of experiments were done in the systematical research.Depended on the data at home and abroad of much study on SFRC, the decisive factors of concrete strength and the effect of its every constituent to the mechanical properties were analyzed in details. The study was mainly divided into two parts: in the first part that was prepared for the next part. The object of study was high-paste with JT. In the second part, the object of study was speedy-strength SFRC. Based on reasonable mix design, a series of tests on the compressive strength* the flexural strength, the splitting tensile strength and shrinkage resistance strength of SFRC with different types and different dosages of steel fiber were carried out.The final conclusion of the paper indicated: the concrete with JT has a low water demand; as the steel fiber contents increase ,the compressive strength* the flexural strength, the splitting tensile strength and shrinkage resistance strength of SFRC become more and more. Especially, because of the high-flexural strength , the speedily-strengthen SFRC is good to repair the airport pavement.
