This paper selects "The research and application for the design and calculation of concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge" as the subject of dissertation for master's degree which contains not only academic analysis but also be close to the engineering practice ,it has important practical value.This paper introduces detailedly the essential capability of the CFST and the structure of CFST arch bridge ,based on which this paper also introduces the method and the step of the design and calculation of the CFST arch bridge,among which it makes detail analysis and discussion about the calculational method of bearing capability of the CFST component ,and it makes certain of the actual reasonable and economical calculational method about this structure.By emptying the above mentioned theoris and conclusions,this paper introducesdetailedly the whole process of the compare and selection of CangZhou city GongRong road Canal bridge's plan,design calculation and check of structure. The internal force calculation of the bridge adopts the program of plane member system (BRICAS),and it was checked by the program of BRCAD.According to the result of the internal force calculation,this paper introduces detailedly the design of tied frame prestress reinforcement ,the checking calculation of section stress and intensity of arch and tied frame,also it provides some result files > arrangement drawings and main structure design drawings.As for the space stability of arch bridge ,this paper also makes simple analysis,and with the help of program ,it gains stability safety factor and make certain of the unstability mode.This type was adopted for the first time in Cangzhou city and Hebei province , and it is suitable for the region with poor foundation,it offers wide condition for the construction and it is economical ,its exterior is handsome,especially suits for the bridge of city.This paper is of great importance for guiding the design and calculation for this type of bridge;and it promates the research and application of the new type of CFST for the purpose of widely spreading it in the field even the resign.
