| Along with the rapid development of large-scale ships in the world, port facilities towards to deep-water is under development. For deep-water breakwater, due to complex environmental conditions, expensive construction investment, difficult construction technology, to search for a rational and reliable type of structure of deep-water breakwater is a challenge and key issue in the international community of port and harbour engineering.In this thesis, a comprehensive study on the new type of breakwater called comb-type breakwater is made by virtue of state-of-the-art investigation, theoretical analyses, numerical computations and laboratory experimental test. The breakwater of big kiln gulf harbor district island of Dalian Port Authority is taken as the demonstrative project. It is shown that this type of breakwater can effectively resolve ocean current, debase ocean wave, alleviate structural weight, it can fulfill the multi-purpose requirements of navigation, port facilities and operation safety of big kiln gulf harbor district island of Dalian Port Authority. This project has been accomplished with good performance. This new type of breakwater structure has save the engineering investment by 64.35 billion RMB compared with the original design plan. |
