This paper is concentrated on the space geometric non-linear static analysis and vibration analysis of the long span plate-truss composite cable-stayed bridges.1. The static analysis of the long span plate-truss composite cable-stayed bridges. First, the CR formation on the geometric non-linear structural analysis is introduced. Next, the structural discretization of cable-stayed bridge , the stiffness matrix the formation of nodal force and the simulated construction system are introduced. Three circumstances on the geometric non-linear analysis are considered: the sag phenomenon of cables the nonlinear behavior of bending members and the geometry change due to large displacement. The non-linear behavior of cables is verified by introduced the Ernst cable modulus of elasticity and CR formation is applied to analyze the non-linear of beams. An incremental-iterative method based on the Newton-Raphson method is adopted here to solve the non-behavior equations.A space geometric non-linear static finite element analysis program about the long span plate-truss composite cable-stayed bridges is presented. Not only it can be used to solve the space static analysis about the state of the dead load configuration (geometry and internal forces), but also it can be used to analyze the internal forces and deformations of the whole construction course. As an example, the space analysis model about the Wuhu Changjiang River Bridge is done and the internal forces about the Wuhu Changjiang River Bridge due to dead load and lived load are analyzed.2. The vibration analysis of the long span plate-truss composite cable-stayed bridges. The fundamental vibration theory about bridge structure and the formation about the property matrix are introduced. According to the linear theory and the finite element method about space system of bars, the corresponding vibration analysis program is compiled. Using this program, the natural frequencies about the Wuhu Changjiang River Bridge are analyzed.
