Design And Construction Of Underpass Bridges

In the case of grade separation engineering for highway and railroad,underpass bridges are widely applied. For satisfying various different actual requirements,underpass bridges have the forms of various different structures,design means,and construction methods.The thesis classifies the underpass bridges according to their behavior characteristics,and static and dynamic behaviors of two main structures are analyzed,compared and concluded. Based on the behavior characteristics of underpass bridges with different skew angles some useful suggestions are then given for their design. Also,the construction methods of underpass bridges are summed up and each methods' process is described in detail. Finally,a design case is enumerated,together with the introduction of practical design theories and methods.The structure,design and construction of underpass bridges are fully discussed in the thesis. The information involved would be helpful and valuable for application of underpass bridges.
