In this paper, the reason of transmission gears vibration are studied with vibration analysis. Based on the time series analysis, the feature vectors extraction methods of the transmission gear vibration signal are studied. The time series analysis is applied to extract the feature vectors of the transmission gears vibration signal of normal working state, wearing working state and fault working state. By fuzzy classificantion method, the similarity relation between the feature vector of the working state transmission gears to be diagnosed and the sample feature vector are obtained. The working state transmission gears fault diagnosis is determined according to this similarity relation of the feature vector. Based on the time series analysis and fuzzy classificantion method, a fault diagnosis system of the transmission gears is designed and applied in the transmission gears fault diagnosis. In the end ,the result is tested and verified with the experiment of LC5T81 transmission gears. The result of test is consisted with the conclusion. This paper is of certain value to the transmission gears fault diagnosis and their working state monitor. Based on the time series analysis and fuzzy classificantion method provides a new method for the transmission gears fault diagnosis.
