| It is essential that an AC charging generator with rectifier operate stably. How to define the parameters of the generator to eliminate the oscillation is a very important project.With a mathematical model of 12-phase synchronous generator-rectifier-load system based on the characteristics of 12-phase AC charging generator with the rectifier for submarine application and a small prototype,this paper analyzes the effect of system parameters (for generator,load and prime mover,etc.) on system operation stability by using simulation calculation and test,and gives the basis for the selection of generator parameters in design.Because central potentials of four Y windings in 12-phase generator are not equal each other and there is no common reference inside the generator,it is difficult to identify the on/off of rectifying elements. In this paper,by using a mathematical model with line voltage substitute for phase voltage,the problem that there is no common reference in the 12-phase generator with rectifier is solved.Based on results of the studies on small prototype,920kw charging generator applied in a submarine is improved in design,and therefore power oscillation with high magnitude when two generators are operating in parallel. |
