The Monitoring Of The Vacuum Switch Mounted In Electric Power Network With Visual Basic

At the middle section of high voltage, there are more and more Vacuum Switches used. So, how to measuring the vacuum is a very impending question for the whole electric power industry.This paper presents a feasible technique of monitoring vacuum degree. The approach is based on the applying of computer technology and electric-magnetic field theory. In the paper we give the calculation processes of magnetic field path and the program of Visual Basic. We introduce the detail measure also. The method is no deformation to Vacuum Circuit Breaker.The use of the monitoring instrument is beneficial to enhancing the reliability of electric power network. The instrument has been verified by The Institute of Metering Science of Liaoning Province.
