Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) is a kind of electromechanical system, which integrates much technology such as mechanics, electronics, and cybernetics. Because of the instability of electromagnetism, the AMB system is a nonlinear system. So it is an important problem that how to realize steady-suspension of the AMB system.In this article , the author builds up reasonable mathematic model basing on detailed study of the single freedom AMB. Besides this, with the help of some software the author realize virtual design of the controller of the AMB system.Basing on detailed study of the AMB system, the author educes the model of the AMB controller in some typical rules. Using the state-space method of modern control theory, the author sets up the state-space model of rotor. With the help of MATLAB and its toolbox the author designs software of AMB system with much control module such as pole points collocating, fuzzy control, Fuzzy-PID control. So the author achieves CAD of the AMB controller.
