A study on the thermocapillary convection induced by temperature gradient is carried out in the present dissertation, as a frontier research subject being paid more attention with the progress of space material science and microgravity fluid hydrodynamics. The main content is as such:(1) On the basis of the study of interfacial thermodynamics theory, the pressure distribution equation in the interface is abstained according to the theory of the minimum free energy in the balanceable system using thermodynamics method, and gets the same result with using the Gibbs method.(2) Make the math model of Marangoni convection and simulate: by predigesting to one dimension, separately considering the natural convection and both natural and Marangoni convection, we get the velocity and temperature distribution, and draw the curves in ORIGIN; Simulate the two dimension model through programming using Matlab, and get the internal relationship among the non-dimensional parameters such as Ra, Ma, Pr, Bi with the velocity and temperature in the liquid area. After drawing the isotherm curves and stream function figure, we also calculate the average Nu number near the wall. Contract to Bi=0, the Nu number is larger when Bi =0. It can sufficiently demonstrate that the change of phase can influence the Maragoni convection, thereby promoting the flow and heat conduction of the liquid area.
