According to the construction performance of braced steel frame, it analyzes the brace number of different mechanical mechanism between central bracing and eccentric bracing. The eccentric bracing and link of loading-deform procession are emphatically described and thought as the important number of inflecting braced frame's construction character. After some necessary simplicity, we can get brace developed restoring force model, then beanu column, node-, brace> link and link with stiff arm's cell stiff matrix under the conditions of elastic and inelastic. It introduces the method for half frame cooperates with brace system, that simply to the half-frame according to the certain convert rule. And performance-based optimization method that gradually removing inefficient materials from a continuum design domain that is used to stiffen the framework until the performance of the bracing system is maximized in the optimal design. Example one analyzes steel frame performance of static linear elastic, nonlinear elastic , therefore gets more exact curves of steel frame loading-level displacement. And the influence to the curves under the vary conditions about the number of floor, the ratio of highness and wideness, slenderness ratio, and so on. Example two analyzes the static construction character steel frame, braced frame and different braced frame, including relation of loading-level displacement, inter梥tory displacement and distribution of plastic hinge, the frame's ductility, the axis force of brace and shearing-force of ground brace bearing, then it is clearly known the brace can minis the level displacement of frame, minis inter-story displacement, bear ground floor shearing-force. So, the brace greatly inflects construction performance of braced frame . It can support more wide plastic deform, better anti-earthquake character, more strong resistance ability of lateral force and it is a optimum construction system.
