Maneuverability is one of the most important performances of navigation,which has a great influence on ships transport safety. Especially, in the past dozens of years, with the development of ocean shipping, the rapid augmentation of ship tonnage, the improving of ship's speed and crowding sea-route, these factors make ship transport safety a prominent question. As a result, many countries ask new-built ships and watercrafts that enter water area of their countries to put in maneuverability calculating book and correlative test record. Besides, IMO and various governments all devote themselves to constituting "ship maneuverability criterion". As the increasing attention to ship's maneuverability of people, it has been put forward to exactly calculating ship maneuverability. After many years' collecting data and researching, IMO ratified resolution of A751(18) about "Temporary Standard of Ship Maneuverability". The resolution not only constitutes temporary criterion to ship's maneuverability , but also puts forward to adopting math model to prediction of computer calculation in design phase .In addition ,with development of the inland river shipping project, the scale of the inland river ship and fleet becomes more and more huge ,especially for those hvge fleet which can be look on as corpulent ship with shallow draught .To ensure the security of the navigation ,the special maneuverability is needed for them to passing through the bridge safely.This text bases on research result of former Russia scholar to compiling calculational program, which predicts turning trajectory and zigzag manoeuvre of single ship model and various formal ship fleet models in the condition of deep water and shallow water. By comparing to these two turning trajectory, we can get certain conclusions which are based to the future study on ship maneuverability.In addition ,the second part of text adopts MMG segregative math model and correlative series test result and built ship manoeuvre movement equation of one propeller and one rudder ocean transport ship in still deep water . Besides , the text used math model to workout calculated program that was modeled on ship'sturning trajectory and zigzag manoeuvre. The showed results of various calculating accord with requirement of criterion .Afterward, basing on anterior ship deep water manoeuvre movement equation ,at the same time ,considering the influence of shallow water and wind on ship maneuverability, text is modelled on ship's manoeuvre movement...
