With the participation on design, construction and observation as well as test for the pre-inundation treatment for the foundation of No. 11 pump station, and throughout the analysis of some relevant information on pre-inundation treatment on gravity collapsibility loess with more thickness, the paper works following conclusions: (1) about the stability standard on collapsibility deformation, the day average collapsibility volume of the last 5d is less than 1-2; (2) the possibility of sinking since inundation happens in 120,140,160 or 180 days; (3) the total volume of water consumption from inundation to collapsibility stability should be 20-40 Ton/m2Possibly; (4) the relation between the time and the change of loess water content after watering tends less, but it tends differently; (5) the treatment of pre-inundation should start as soon as possible, so it ensures enough time for decreasing the loess water content after watering, as to increase the bearing capacity of foundation and decrease the deformation of foundation.The conclusions mentioned above offer some experiences for decision, design and construction of pre-inundation treatment on gravity collapsibility loess, and it also has important meaning in choosing the correct plan and shortening the construction and saving the investment on the treatment for the loess foundation with more thickness and gravity collapsibility.
