Rotating components are widely applied in such machines as aeroengines, industrial compressors and electromotors. It plays important role in such national economic fields as power, aviation, machine, chem, spin and so on. Because the vibration of the rotors bring plenty expense which can be avoided, it is of significance to research Rotor Dynamics.Firstly, the author of the dissertation analyzes comprensively dynamical characteristic of the single-disc and multi-disc rotor system and studies how the variety of such factors as whirK gyroscopic moment and the fluctuant stiffness of the bearing affect the critical speed of the flexible rotor system. Secondly, the author introduces the Transfer Matrix Method and the Riccati Transfer Matrix Method which can be applied to analyze and calculate the critical speed of the rotor. Inheriting the entire strongpoint of the Transfer Matrix' Method, Riccati Transfer Matrix Method can avoid leak radix and the result is more stable. Thirdly, the author builds a multi-disc, multi-bearing flexible rotor dynamical model and designs a general software of flexible rotor dynamical analyses. By applying the software, the author computes the critical speed of the rotor that the example offers. Finally based on the Modal Balancing, the author discusses the unbalance response of the flexible rotor system.
